Step insideA bond that takes shape
Yukari (縁) is a Japanese word for a connection that crosses time and distance, bringing together people, places and stories. Yukari Ceramics was born from that idea: the first traditional Japanese architectural ceramics brought to the world and reinterpreted through a contemporary Italian lens. In Tajimi, clay, water and fire carry a craft tradition handed down for centuries. In Italy, that knowledge meets a vision that brings it into contemporary architecture. Neither culture prevails over the other: both are transformed by the encounter. What remains is an invisible bond that takes form in the material, day after day.

Clay is shaped, dried naturally, hand glazed and entrusted to slow firings that can last up to 48 hours. Nothing is rushed: for Yukari, time is not a measure of production but its essential ingredient.
